81st Annual Convention (September 22 – 25, 2022)

Dear NYAIAI Member & Guests:

On behalf of the New York Association of Independent Adjusters, Inc., we would like to invite you to our 81^st Annual Convention to be held at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa Resort in Fairport, NY on September 22^nd, 23^rd, 24^th and 25^th, 2022.

The Woodcliff Hotel & Spa, situated in the scenic hills of upstate New York, offers contemporary accommodations with sophisticated style, a full-service restaurant open for dinner with a full bar. We also offer a beautiful indoor pool, a seasonal outdoor pool and a fitness center. The Woodcliff Hotel & Spa is the perfect weekend getaway, couples escape, or corporate retreat.

Ravenwood Golf Club is an award winning 18 Hole course located just minutes south of Rochester New York, in the heart in the Finger Lakes Region of Western New York. Considered to be the Top Public Golf Course in the area, Ravenwood was selected by Golf Digest as the 5th “Best New” public course in the United States to open in 2003. Ravenwood has hosted many USGA & PGA qualifiers as well as the Home of the 2003 & 2009 New York Men’s Amateur Golf Championships. The Championship Golf Course has bent grass tees, greens and fairways but with five sets of tees can be a fair and challenging test for golfers of all skill levels.

On Thursday, September 22^nd, Convention Registration will begin at 2:00 pm followed by a Welcome Cocktail Reception and hors d’oeuvres at 5:30.  The Hospitality Suite will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening from 9:30 to 11:30 pm.

On Friday, September 23^rd, we will begin with Breakfast starting at 7:30 am followed by our General Membership Meeting at 8:30 am and our Liaison Meeting at 9:15 am.  The Golf Event at the Ravenwood Golf Club will be departing from the hotel at 11:15 am with box lunches at the turn. The non-golfers will be going to a Wine Tasting Tour and Lunch at the Casa Larga Vineyards.  On Friday evening, we will be having a cocktail reception followed by dinner.    

Saturday, September 24^th we begin with Breakfast 7:30.  Education Sessions will be held featuring Melisa Foti of Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak, LLP and Roy Mura of Mura Law Group, PLLC for a total of 2 Educational Credits.  Saturday afternoon we will be going on the Colonial Belle Cruise of Erie Canal in Fairport which is from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  Lunch & Cocktails will be served during the cruise.  At 6:00 pm is a Cocktail Party followed by the Grand Banquet at 7:00.  Hospitality Room will be open from 9:30 – 11:00 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

You may pay for the Registration, Golf and Sponsorships on our website; however, we ask that you also PLEASE return the paper Registration Forms for bookkeeping purposes.  The final deadline for Registration is August 30th, 2022.  Please be sure to get your forms in before the cutoff date.

Hotel Deluxe Room        $149.00 plus tax  Thursday to Sunday

The Convention provides an excellent opportunity to renew old friendships or make new ones, share in new technology and attend educational sessions.
